Karen Romanchuk, Reid Seibert, Mike Murchison, Cathy Hendry Hawley and special guest Greg Herman will be playing a fundraiser for the Red Cross’s response to Alberta wildfires. Karen Romanchuk, Cathy Hawley, Mike Murchison , Greg Herman and Reid Siebert will be playing a songwriter’s Circle to raise money for the Red Cross.Pie and ice cream will be available for $5. Thio goal is to raise $1000 which will be matched by the Federal and Provincial Government .

cKillop is part of the United Church of Canada, a liberal denomination that only exists in Canada. The United Church has a statement of common faith AND is open to diverse views of who God is and how God is active in our lives.

We believe in a person’s right to name, shape, and express their faith in many ways. McKillop uses inclusive language and is welcome and open to gays, lesbians, bisexuals, trans, and two-spirited people.

We have a strong passion for social justice, including the ordination of women, and working for peace with justice.

We believe in the importance of both worshipping as a community and finding what feeds us spiritually as individuals. We don’t always agree but we work to find ways to worship, laugh, cry, and work together.
