"Dean Selena's debut disc reminds me of a mix between Neil
Young's "Harvest Moon" and "Everybody Knows This is Nowhere", though of
course their sound is not a carbon copy of Mr. Young's. "Where'd You
Run to Now?" almost hints at Zeppelin or Pink Floyd where they've got a
great odd time riff going on that works well. The melody of "Feel You"
is my favorite, and "There's No Stoppin' the Wind" is an undeniably
breezy happy song that contrasts well with the moodiness of the rest of
the album. Not surprising that a band from Lethbridge would know how to
write about windy times! I also like the dreamy last track, the lines
"Made to find a place in the universe/ Far away from where we are now /
Somewhere that hasn't been touched by the curse"-- in general the
lyrical theme seems to be that of longing for something better." --Ann
