The Contemporary Works Jazz Orchestra (CWJO) is a 17-member jazz ensemble comprised of professional musicians in the Lethbridge area and is directed by saxophonist/composer David Renter. Their repertoire covers a wide variety of music, including classic arrangements from Count Basie and Duke Ellington to modern big band composers such as Maria Schneider, Thad Jones, and Kenny Wheeler.
