What do you get when you take four dedicated Lethbridge teens, rock and roll and an endless ambition?
Eyes of Isis.
Combining memorable classic rock with modern rock and roll Eyes of Isis gives a new feel to rock in Canada. Forget university! Eyes of Isis are going to the school of rock on a musical road trip. “Eyes of Isis is my university” says Davidson, who lives, breathes and sleeps music. “I am extremely ambitious; I have so many ideas it’s hard to fall asleep.” Music is Davidson’s passion; a passion shared by his band mates especially close pal Rennie, a truly formidable axe man. The newest members of the band, Emerson age 16 and Folkersen age 16, two dynamic artists, are the final ingredients in a musical recipe that audiences are going to eat up.
“Without our fans we would be nowhere; their positive energy is the co-existence of Eyes of Isis.” Eyes of Isis quote.
They may be young and still in high school but the members of Eyes of Isis have their minds set and they will do whatever it takes to reach the pinnacle of success. Since the band was created in 2009, Eyes of Isis has written well over a dozen songs, recorded a professional EP and performed their first stadium. This foursome is ready to take on the musical world. “Everybody is dedicated and on the same page. We’re ready to take it to the next level,” says Davidson.
The four musicians have an incredible natural chemistry, one which makes writing and performing as natural as breathing. They may be teenagers but they truly have old souls. Their music is compelling, listenable and radio-friendly. One reviewer says of Eyes of Isis “these kids are throwbacks to a golden era of screaming guitar solos, power chords and memorable vocals... they have a keen sense of melody and clearly respect the heritage of their chosen genre without sounding clichéd.” (LA Living Magazine)

Time:8-10 p.m. — Calum Graham
www.myspace.com/calumgraham or calumgraham.net
Calum isn't just an exceptional musician, but a very synergistic talent and is perhaps the first true, "fusion" artist of the 21st Century. His exceptional musical capability and direction provides for a prestigious, and long term artist life. Calum has garnered rave commentary for literally appealing to a very broad age demographic. He has an exciting and entertaining stage presence that belies his youth. Here is a guitarist who is well on his way to international acclaim. He was called a "Monster Guitarist" from executives at Disney Studios, and a "Virtuoso" from the many eyes that witness this young man. He was chosen among the top artists of Alberta, to perform at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. In 2009, A First place win at the Calgary Stampede Talent Search entered him into the National Talent Competition in P.E.I, where he also took First place. A Second place win with his original compositions was a high standing at the Prestigious Canadian Guitar Festival, in Ontario. He released his first EP entitled "Sunny side up" November 2009, and is looking forward to debuting his first official album in late 2010/2011.
