Auresia has just released her self-produced debut album. She is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, artist from Montreal and has performed her original roots compositions for the last 7 years. Hers is a new urban blend of contemporary island roots music. With words, melody, meditative riddims and her hauntingly angelic voice, she continues the tradition of raising consciousness with song, part of the musical/spiritual movement of raising consciousness with music. Auresia has played throughout Canada, including Montreal International Reggae Fest, Toronto's Rasta Fest and the Koots Roots Reggae Festival,B.C. She has recently performed and recorded in Jamaica and in Europe! She has shared the stage with Kymani Marley, Sanchez, Queen Ifrika, Tony Rebel, Sister Nancy, Ibo and Kindread, Kali and Dub Inc, and many more... Auresia's music is featured on CBC Radio Canada 1, 2 and 3, college Radio across Canada, Europe and IRIE FM Jamaica, Her self-produced debut album is available on iTunes, Bullfrog Music (Canada), CD Baby (USA) and in stores at HMV across the country.
