It’s not baseball season yet, but on Saturday, April 2nd there will be a great DOUBLE HEADER of entertainment in Joe’s Garage at Average Joe’s Sports Bar. The night starts off with another edition of Yuk Yuks Comedy Club featuring 2 young, Canadian comics. Opening the show will be Calgary comedian Donovan Deschner. Donovan has been entertaining audiences since he was 10 years ol...d, starting out as a magician. Now, he is a much traveled comic who plays in exotic resorts, corporate ballrooms and comedy clubs. His comedy combines poignant observations with physical absurdities that will give everyone reason to laugh. The evening’s headliner is Marcus Beaubier who draws on his Newfoundland upbringing and his current Prairies lifestyle to present unique comedic material. He is wickedly funny while raging on about pop culture, relationships, politics and who knows what else.

That is just Game1. The second part of the double header is the music of The Unknown Culprits. The Culprits are one of Canada’s best up and coming Indie bands and they present a powerhouse performance. Their repertoire includes blues, grunge and rock. A Culprit concert includes their own catchy, original tunes as well as covers of artists such as AC/DC, The Doors, Pink Floyd and The Rolling Stones.
