A family concert especially geared towards children. Using the music of Mozart, Beethoven and American Grammy Award winner Jennifer Higdon, the musicians from Trinity College of Music in England and the University of Lethbridge will talk about music instruments, sound generation, and music styles. Artwork created by students during Project Muse school visits from throughout the region will be presented during the performance.
Exposing babies and youth to classical music by Bach, Mozart and Beethoven has been shown through research dating as far back as the mid-1800s to produce positive effects in child development, health and spatial reasoning.
The purpose of this family concert is to expose local youth to some of the finest music that classical music has to offer, and for them to be inspired by some of the most taaep-03lented young musicians currently performing world-wide.
