What do St. Petersburg – Russia, Kiev – Ukraine, Munich – Germany, Vienna – Austria, and Lethbridge – Alberta have in common???
Answer: In the spring and summer of 2011 these cities will be lucky enough to host a concert by the legendary 1970’s rock band, NAZARETH.

Average Joe’s Sports Bar is proud to present NAZARETH on Tuesday, July 19th at 8:30 P.M. The show will open with the winner of the Battle of the Bands contest currently running weekly in Joe’s Garage. Then the Scottish hard rockers will take to the stage to wow you with their music that has kept them in high demand and touring the world for over 4 decades. You will hear some of their top selling hits like, Loud and Proud, Hair of the Dig, and Love Hurts.

Tickets for the concert are $ 40.00 each, and are on sale now at Average Joe’s, 420 – 6th Street, South. This is a great opportunity to see one of rock’s big name bands up close and personal. Don’t delay as seating is limited.

Nazareth are a Scottish hard rock band that had several hits in the UK in the early 1970s, and established an international audience with their 1975 album Hair of the Dog. Perhaps their best-known hit single was a cover of the ballad "Love Hurts", in 1975. The band continues to record and tour to the present day.

Nazareth was formed in December 1968 in Dunfermline, Scotland, out of the ashes of semi-professional local group The Shadettes (formed in 1961) by vocalist Dan McCafferty, guitarist Manny Charlton (ex Mark V and The Red Hawks), bassist Pete Agnew, and drummer Darrell Sweet. They took their name from Nazareth, Pennsylvania, which is cited in the first line of The Band's classic song "The Weight" ("I pulled into Nazareth / Was feelin' about half past dead..."). Nazareth's cover version of "Java Blues" by The Band's bassist/singer Rick Danko and Emmett Grogan is on their 1981 live album Snaz.

Gravity Crash are a modern rock band including Rob - Vocals & Guitar; Jordan - Drums & Percussion; Charlie - Bass Guitar
