Ryan McMahon, described by Canadian Music Icon, Terry David Mulligan, is:
“The complete package.
Singer. Songwriter. Performer. Troublemaker. Passionate human being.
For me… priceless!!” TDM
For the past decade, Ryan McMahon has been writing and performing his
music in relative obscurity, while splitting time between Vancouver and
his hometown of Ladysmith, British Columbia.
Hanging out on the edges of country just enough to say he isn't, Ryan
McMahon is both a whisper and a scream. He's a storytelling hustler,
and probably always will be. His third independent release, "Put the
Past in a Flask and Drink It" contains 10 truth-filled songs, loaded
with Ryan's own personal experiences and anecdotes.
Whether he's delivering an intimate solo concert, or performing with
his band, "the Company Damn," a Ryan McMahon concert is always
different, and always thoroughly entertaining.
Just for a moment, Let yourself be
here. Let yourself STOP becoming more, better, or different. You are not
a walking mistake. You are not a problem to be solved.

Edmonton-born singer-songwriter has the uncanny ability to spark a

It’s been a long time coming, but Vancouver Island musician Christopher
Arruda has decided to make a stand on his own. Having spent his late
teens and early twenties fronting popular funk-rock band "The Lady
Esther" and the ambitious post-rock outfit "Open, parachute!", the
twenty-five year old artist has returned with a renewed sense of
passion, drive and love for the music he creates. His performances
are bold and varied. One moment a boistrous shout, the next a soft
whisper, Christopher strives to connect with the audience through
unbridled fervor and a captivating presence. Influenced by the likes of
Thom Yorke, Sufjan Stevens, Rachel Yamagata and Sarah Slean, his sound
strikes a chord somewhere between pop, rock and folk music but his only
goal is to create inspiring soundscapes that are honest and true.
Christopher has recently started booking shows in anticipation of his
forthcoming record "God hates a coward". Already signed on to help with
the project as engineer and co-producer is longtime friend and
collaberator David Sponaugle. The record will be recorded in Victoria,
B.C. and is tenatively slated for an early summer release. For booking
