L’ACFA régionale de Lethbridge/Medicine Hat is proud to present the 2012 St‐Jean Baptiste Day. Come together francophone community of Lethbridge.
St-‐Jean Baptiste Day is the largest French Canadians celebration and it is expressed all across Canada. This is an opportunity to celebrate the cultural pride and the rich heritage of French-speaking Canadians. With the goal to combine different levels of the community, we invite you to discover the French Canadians culture!
Beginning at 4:00 pm, the colorful event will include games and face painting for children, This year we are pleased to receive our community harmony and our chorus and Skyler Bjorn-Benoit, who won several awards including first place at the 12th edition of La Chicane albertaine. Finally, we will receive a visit from Roger Dallaire duet. Musician, storyteller, ventriloquist, dancer, puppeteer and folklorist, Roger has more than one string to his bow. We promise you a great show!

La Cité des Prairies a pour mission de contribuer à la création d’un
espace d’expression française en partenariat avec tout autre organisme
oeuvrant pour le fait français. Les points forts de cette mission
incluent la gestion d’un centre communautaire et culturel, d’en assurer
la stabilité financière et cohésion des parties prenantes, et d’agir sur
des projets autour du livre, la lecture et l’apprentissage du français.
