AUGUST 3RD IS LAUGHS NIGHT AT AVERAGE JOE’S
The Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Club returns to Average Joe’s Sports Bar in
Lethbridge on Friday, August 3rd. As always, the laughs will be fast
and furious and the beer will be cold and flowing.
Randy Webb will host the show, and will begin by introducing newcomer
Chris Griffin. Chris had a stable job at a printing company, but after
getting a taste of performing, he quickly quit his job and took to the
road. As he says, “ I now spend my time doing the two things I do best,
drinking and telling jokes”. His jokes will leave you feeling good
about your own life decisions, and wondering why he hasn’t died of liver
failure. Chris’s comedy has the comfort of a tall, cold beer and the
edge of a shot of whiskey. Chris will be followed by the evening’s
headliner, Lori Gibbs. Lori has many comedy accolades on her resume
including her own CTV, Comedy Now special, has appeared on the CBC
program, The Debaters, and in 2009 was nominated as the best newcomer at
the Canadian Comedy Awards. Lori’s comedy is honest, refreshing, and
wonderfully energetic, appealing to both men and women. She has become a
fan favorite on comedy stages across Canada.
The Yuk Yuk’s
comedy show starts at 9:30 P.M. in Joe’s Garage at Average Joe’s Sports
Bar, 420 – 6th street, south. Tickets will be available at the door for
$10.00.
