Following on the recent success of the Jazzerwocky Festival, The Mix by Ric's is promoting "Funky Friday" on the first Friday of the month, Novermber 2nd, featuring The Naked Ear and Hip Hop performer StrongV. Music starts at 8 pm with soft jazz for the first set followed by two Nu-Jazz and Hip Hop shows at 9 pm and 10 pm. There is no cover and there will be a gratis snack bar along with specials on a domestic brand beer and draught pints. And great jazz - definitely not your grandma's variety. What more can one ask?
