Clay Shea, Allan Harding, Bob Yiannakoulias.

Class: Working
Breed: Black Mastiff
Origin: Edmonton, AB

Description: The Black Mastiff is a powerful breed known for its thick grooves, tasteful leads, and soothing melodies. Though new to the scene they have over 35 years of previous touring and playing experience combined! This breed of musicianship is well versed in the trials and triumphs of being a Canadian working band. The Black Mastiff has a gentle temperament, but will not back down when presented with the opportunity to flex their powerful, yet soulful sound. ~ Not recommended for those that are ‘faint of heart’. This breed delivers a heavy dose of stoner soul rock. They are not afraid to stray from home and roam the nation; commanding attention, they convert idle listeners. The Black Mastiff is a first-rate breed and with very little effort is sure to provide an excellent life long companion for anyone who is looking for a fresh and honest working breed.

Mick Hayward - Vocals/Guitar
Tyson Wiebe - Bass/Vocals
Dave Banman - Guitar
Jon Vornbrock - Drums

What started off as a subdued solo effort by guitarist/vocalist Mick Hayward, has turned into a much louder rendition, after a push from friend and collaborator Tyson Wiebe. Wiebe's bass along with Dave Banman's guitar and Jon Vornbrock's drums have turned Hayward's into something spacier, yet more propulsive. Think indie rock with a touch of shoegaze and hardcore and you'd be close.

The Farm Sessions, Mormon Girls debut record will be available for purchase December 17, 2013 on cassette and digitally through Bandcamp.
The EP, produced by Jesse Northey (Windigo, Jesse and the Dandelions, The Utilities) was recorded in just two days at a run-down farmhouse just outside of Lethbridge.

 The Void http://www.reverbnation.com/musicisvoid

Jon Vornbrock, Rob Cooper, Dean Wilson, Johnny Little

The Void was imagined by Jon Vornbrock in 2007 after writing a handful of songs that did not fit the band he was in at the time. The first record "Play.Make.Believe" was recorded by Jon in his bedroom in 2007 and is now a limited pressing. A few other recordings have been lost in piles of compact discs and tapes but may be released in the future. An acoustic album that was recorded in December of 08 has been dug up, dusted off & released in the summer of 2012. 4 additional tracks were recorded to finish the album & 50 copies were released. The Void has now(2013) finished it's first full band record with a solid line up of Dean Wilson, Jonny Little & Rob Cooper. The album is titled RobotSpaceLove & it's available through Itunes, Amazon & Bandcamp. Search RobotSpaceLove for best results.
