Eric Braun Band

As the icy wind of the northern arctic brushed against his frozen and well-molded face, 8 year old Eric Braun saw a vision that would change his life forever. For years he had been riding the coat-tails of something bigger; something unknown. But now he saw that life wouldn't be won through meaningless words and half-hearted melodies, it would be won in the trenches, down where the real men fought. Alas, without a startling noise, Eric saw himself stumbling upon what would now be his life goal: To become famous. Other, more genuine musicians would say that they just love to play music, but Eric was different. Remarkably different. What drove him was the thought of millions of screaming, weeping fans wiping their tears on the lyric pages to songs about lost love and the extreme difficulties of being a middle-class white child in a split-level home in the chilled plains of Alberta. He set off across the barren and effete lands of the canadian north to pursue this dream of his, and to one day be known as the guy who was "moderately good at what he did." For nothing more than money, material goods, and surface-level relationships, Eric continues his quest towards conquering life this very day.
