The
Windy Rafters Barn Dance in Orton (on the way to Fort Macleod) has
Dinner/Dance nights every 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month during the
summer (June - September). h (4th Friday). The Dusty Dee Band will be playing mostly
covers of country songs, old and new, that people can dance to. The
dates are:
1. June 27th
2. July 25th
3. August 22nd
4. September 26th
Dances start around 8pm.
The Windy Rafters Barn is located 2.5 miles south of Hiway 3 on Range Rd
250. This is often called the Orton Road. There are signs on Hiway 3
pointing to the Windy Rafters Barn Dance.

We are located only 29 km. (19 minutes) West of Lethbridge on the #3 highway; Or 13 km. East of Fort Macleod on the #3. (watch for 'WINDY RAFTERS BARN DANCE' signs). Exit the #3 highway by turning South on Range Road 250 towards Orton. Travel South 4 km. and turn East (left) at the brown 'WINDY RAFTERS' sign across from the small cemetery. The gravel road ends at the barn. Drive carefully the road will turn sharply at the end to get into the parking lot.
