It has always been “Hip” to spend your Saturday nights
at Average Joe’s Sports Bar, but on October 11th it will definitely be
hip. That is when The Hip Show , a tribute to the Tragically Hip will
be presented. The Tragically Hip of course are one of Canada’s favorite
rock bands from the 80’s and 90’s and the Hip Show group provide the
finest reproduction of their music. Over the years The Tragically Hip
had many hit singles and platinum selling albums. Songs like New
Orleans Is Sinking, 38 Years Old and Highway Girl and many others helped
them win an amazing 14 Juno awards.
The show will start at
9:30 P.M. Advance tickets are $15.00 and are available at Average
Joe’s, 420 -6th street south or on line at www.thejoe.ca. On the day of the show any remaining tickets will be sold for $20.00.
