Honkers Pub had pretty much cleared out by the time I got there to catch the last couple songs of Luke James Bruce’s set, Saturday, May 25.
He had been with a band earlier in the night but finished up his set solo.
He played a couple originals and wound up his set with a couple covers of Jamey Johnson’s “ In Color. He wound up with a cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Simple Man,” for which Laurie Wintoniak added background harmonies.
