Every year in August on the last full weekend before the long weekend, the Taber and District Chamber of Commerce hosts the largest free family festival in Western Canada. It celebrates with a parade, live music, entertainment, rides, chili cookoff, show and shine, huge fireworks, and much more! Come for the corn and stay for the fun! You can find us in Confederation Park at 50 ave/50 street.
Starting Thursday Aug 24 evening at 4 pm with our parade followed by our Opening Ceremonies at 6 pm on our Cornfest Stage in Confederation park. Stay put for an evening of live entertainment until midnight or listen from the beer gardens starting at 5pm until Midnight.
Thursday is also our sneak-a-peek wristband night for the Midway, watch for advance wristbands to go on sale early August.
Friday night head on over to the Taber Agriplex (6602 53st) for our FREE Cornfest Bull-A-Rama. Doors open at 6pm with performance to start at 7. Join us back at the grounds after for our Beer Gardens, and live entertainment until Midnight.
Join us Saturday starting at 9 am for the Gear Lord's Show 'n Shine, the Arts & Crafts Show, more kids events and live entertainment along with all our Corn-y contests (Corn eating, corn stuffing, Corn tasting).= Stay with us through the evening for live entertainment and fireworks around 10pm.
Taber Cornfest is able to remain the largest FREE family festival in western Canada, thanks to the generosity of sponsors.
