Lethbridge, AB. - Saturday, October 25th will be a
great, local event night at Average Joe’s Sports Bar in Lethbridge.
Scotchtoberfest is the sixth annual fundraiser put on by the Lethbridge
Firefighters Pipes and Drums Band in support of The Alberta Firefighters
Camp for Children. By attending this event, not only will you be
assisting this worthwhile charity, you will be entertained by two very
different but talented Lethbridge groups. On stage will be DNR, a band
made up of some local health professionals, who have built up a strong
following who enjoy their classic rock performances. As well, the roof
will be raised by an appearance from the Lethbridge Firefighters Pipes
and Drums band.
This will be a unique and special evening.
Tickets are on sale now at Average Joe’s for $20.00 in advance. Any
remaining tickets will be sold at the door for $25.00. 100% of ticket
sales will be donated to the Alberta Burn Camp for Children. The show
starts at 9:00 P.M. Come to Average Joe’s for a night of great

DNR
DNR is a Lethbridge classic rock band which began in 2006 when two ER physicians guitarist Wes Orr and drummer Kevin Martin got together and decided to jam to relieve stress. They recruited co-workers RN Colleen West as a vocalist and guitarist and internist Morley Wong to round out the line up as well as bassist/ family doctor Rob Strank. They play the hits of the ’60s to today
