Lethbridge, AB. - Average Joe’s Sports Bar continues the tradition of bringing big name performers and big entertainment value to their stage. This time it is Canadian Country Music Star, George Canyon. George broke on to the country music scene in 2004 when he was runner up in the Nashville Star North America wide singing competition. Since then he has been a permanent fixture on the country music scene in this country. He has received two Junos for Best Country Recording of the Year. The songs were “One Good Friend” and “Somebody Wrote Love”. Between 2004 and 2014 George received an astounding 35 nominations for Canadian Country Music Association Awards. His numerous CCMA wins include the Rising Star Award, Male Artist of the Year awards and Single of the Year awards.
The George Canyon appearance at Average Joe’s is part of his 2016 Jekyll and Nothing to Hide cross Canada tour in support of his new album, “I Got This”. George’s concert will include many of his country rock hits and as always they will be performed in his emotional, powerful and energy packed way. There will be a limited number of VIP Experience Package tickets available for this concert. These tickets are only available by going on the website, GeorgeCanyon.com/shop. VIP packages include a ticket to the show, and “ I Got This” CD, a 8 by 10 photo of George and a pre-show meet and greet that includes a personal photo with George and an exclusive acoustic performance.
The George Canyon concert is presented by Country 95.5 on Monday February 22nd and Tuesday February 23rd starting at 8:00 P.M. Advance tickets are on sale now for $40.00 and can be purchased on line at www.thejoe.ca, or at Average Joe’s Sports Bar, 420 -6th street south in downtown Lethbridge. Any remaining tickets the day of the concert will be $50.00.
