The Avulsion http://www.reverbnation.com/theavulsion
Formed in 2010 as Celestial Coffin, The Avulsion was formed with
intentions of being one of the next heaviest acts to come out of
Lethbridge. The Avulsion started playing shows in November of 2010,
followed by a string of successful shows for most of 2011, opening for
bands such as Death Toll Rising, Auroch, Scythia, The Killing Field,The
Order of Chaos, Titan, Naraka, and many others. During these times,
members left and joined, and the musical direction changed. What was a
notorious Black/Death act is now a full-out brutal assault, taking
traits from Death Metal, Thrash Metal, and Grindcore. The Avulsion is
eager to play more shows in 2012 and even more eager to play the new
material written by the new lineup.

Formed in mid 2009 from the ashes of the Allegations, Rex rose phoenix-like....
Ryan Dyck, Sean Simpson and Jeff Carlson added Mark De Georgio to the
fold, and a few months later Mr. Sheldon Arvay came on the scene to
round out the lineup.
Unfortunately, Rex and Sheldon parted ways in April of 2010, due to personal commitments.

Your attention is constantly being drawn from one to another, all the while in disbelief at the quality of musicianship for men so young in years, but obviously not in talent and ability." Lightworker http://www.reverbnation.com/lightworker
There was a time in southern Alberta when a flood of screamo,
punk, and metalcore bands were the fuel for a thriving music scene, but
those days have gone with the changing of times. Today, Rock music,
complimented by a small hardcore scene, are the main substance of
southern Alberta music. We are in need of something new. Something heavy
hitting, melodic, fast paced, and emotional. The scene needs more local
shows, for the masses of kids and adults alike who have the innate
desire to get
up and move, scream at the top of their lungs, and connect with a
community brought together by nothing more than the love of great music.
In the summer of 2010, the band concept was born in the minds of vocalist Levi Tolman and guitarist Tyler Holt. The idea was to write the music they loved: heavy, melodic, and filled with energy. After 9 months of hunting, guitarist Grant Gauthier, drummer Zac Beres, and bass player Jess Peterson rounded out the line up, and Lightworker was born. With influences derived from 21st century bands like Atreyu, Senses Fail, Thrice, Story of the Year and loads of others, these guys pump out hard hitting tunes that lull you into a melancholic state before tearing your face off with break downs worthy of most passionate hardcore fans.
With a solid set of songs and a high energy live show,
Lightworker is sure to turn heads. They are on a mission to build a
scene.
Southern Alberta is in need of something new. A new scene. A new sound. A new community of music.
Southern Alberta is in need of Lightworker.

Lustre Creame http://www.reverbnation.com/lustrecreame
The band Lustre Creame came into existence in the winter of 2007. Three individuals sharing like-visions of moving over and beyond the rock and roll status-quo: that of Aaron Trozzo, Willis Orriss, and Christopher Lipinski. It was this instantaneous mesh of ideas, creative drive, and individual blue-collar jadedness that had Lustre Creame immediately punching out new and exciting original material. As time ran on, it became obvious that the band had something of a special rock & roll relationship; individualistic in nature and breaching pure-rock-fury.
Lustre Creame have been described as “...the most entertaining live act in Lethbridge, not to mention the most technically proficient” but seeing is believing. Every song has been crafted from the ground up, largely abandoning the standard popular approaches to verse/chorus/verse writing methods, but maintaining values of melody, structure, and dynamic. Think of their musical styling as a delicious layer cake incorporating elements of progressive rock, funk, grunge, blues, world rhythms, and a thin stratum of weird pop. It it this flexibility within their music that makes them able to adapt and earn fans in any type of live performance setting.
Lustre Creame have released two EP's (independently written, recorded, mixed, mastered, packaged) and their first full-length is currently in the works, due mid-summer 2012. It's been said that the future holds good things for those who are willing to work hard for them; if this bears any truth, Lustre Creame should have a very interesting future ahead of them.
Sacred Savage http://www.reverbnation.com/sacredsavage
Myron Fox - Vocals/Guitar, Terry Eagle Speaker - Bass, Dwayne Eagle Speaker - Drums
Sacred Savage is an metal band from the Kainai Nation and have been playing under this name since 2010 with this lineup. The band was known as Dr Blood for most of the 90's and early 2K's. Sacred Savage has recently been writing and recording original metal tunes that touch on the tribal icons and history of the North American First Nation and has been drawn to the darker side of sonic imagery. The band's sound is a basic primal assault and desecration of the senses riding hard towards the heaviest of metal. Sacred because of the dedication to personal discipline and hard working personas and Savage because of the deadly intent and precision of clear minded warriors armed with modern music weaponry. S.S. is inferior to no one.......
The Void http://www.reverbnation.com/musicisvoid

That record will be a limited run of 50 copies. The Void is now in the mixing process of a full length first ever group album. Since all other projects from Void members have been put on hiatus the group now has a driving force that will not be stopped any time soon. Demo tracks will be posted in the near future.
