Ken Tizzard captures audience’s attention

E-mail Print PDF

Anybody at the Tongue N Groove, July 27, expecting Ken Tizzard to play songs from his ’90s rock band the Watchmen, was disappointed.

But he captured the attention Ken Tizzard plays to an intimate audience. Photo by Richard Ameryof the approximately dozen audience members at the show with his  down to earth songs, pleasant voice and entertaining stories.

It was just Tizzard, his guitar and the occasional harmonica.

He told stories of the Legion in his new hometown of Campbellford, Ontario and moving from St. John’s, Newfoundland to Toronto to be a musician. He observed he had most of the crowd’s attention save for two girls chatting in the back and continued to play and tell stories.
