Lethbridge quartet Junkman’s Choir brought the folk to the Owl Acoustic Lounge, April 13. They had a good sized crowd chattering away. But they applauded politely after every upbeat, catchy number.
The band members alternated between various instruments including a couple acoustic guitars , electric guitars and a saxophone. They also alternated singling lead vocals and supplied background vocals allowing for some pleasant harmonies.
Throughout, there was some tasteful fiddle playing and tasteful guitar solos.
Omar and the Bear also played , but I missed their sets.
