Living Hour hypnotize

A handful of people got lost in layers of sound and groove from Winnipeg’s Living Hour for a special Electric Eye Music Festival encore presentation, Wednesday, Oct. 7 at the Slice.

I caught the end of a noisy, heavy set from Vancouver’s “Blessed” and completely missed local band Royal Chinet.

Living Hour played a Pink Floydish hypnotic, groovy psychedelic set of indie rock powered by the spooky vocals, keyboards, a touch of trombone and layers of delay laden guitar which mesmerized the audience during their consistent set.
