Adequate play exceptional Good Friday show full of funk

E-mail Print PDF

It was a really “good” good Friday at the Owl Acoustic Lounge, March 18 as local trio Adequate brought the funk to the stage for an enthusiastic audience, eager to dance up a sweat to  a whole lot of funky hits.

The tight, multi-instrumental trio of  Keenan Pezderic, Scott Mezei and Josh Thorlakson  played a vibrant show of  R and B and pop music including seventies standards like “ You Sexy Thing.” I Believe In Miracles” and “Good Love.“

While they usually switch instruments throughout their set, the incarnation I caught was Pezderic on bass and vocals, Mezei on drums and Thorlakson playing tasteful guitar.
