Rancho Deluxe rock the roots

E-mail Print PDF

I only caught the last couple songs  from local country/ roots band Rancho Deluxe at the Owl Acoustic Lounge, June 24.
Frontman George Arsene, Tyler Bird, steel Guitarist Ryan Dyck and rhythm section of bassist Paul Holden and drummer Brad Brouwer always put on an excellent show.

Rancho Deluxe playing the Owl. Photo by Richard Amery I arrived in time for “Come on Train,” but  just missed Tyler Bird playing fiddle.

They played  their always wonderful version of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band’s “Cosmic Cowboy.” This time I caught   their always excellent version of the D-Rangers’ “ Trois Rivieres.”

They wound down their show with “ Stagger Lee.”
