Local rock band the Chevelles always equal a good time, especially when they’re helping out a good cause, in the case of their March 23 show at Average Joes , the Lethbridge American Legion Baseball team.
I caught them on a set break but caught a live auction of donated items. When the Chevelles returned, It was all about the hits and nothing but the hits.
They played their usual tight and fun show including classics like Ac DC’s “ You Shook me All Night Long” and an extended jam on Queen’s “ We Will Rock You.” I left as they slowed thing s down with Poison’s ’80s hair metal ballad “ Every Rose Has It’s Thorn.”
