Good Time Charlie play rock and roll for Street Machine weekend

E-mail Print PDF

Rock and roll is  the ideal  soundtrack to fast cars and summer fun in the sun, so Good Time Charlie were an excellent choice  to play the Street Machine Weekend show and shine, Sunday, July 14. They were also playing the 1010 Pub on Friday, night, but I missed that due to getting home late from Fort Macleod where Macbeth was on stage.

But their show and shine set was a superb show of blues based hard rock. They played upbeat versions of classic rock hits from Cream, Jimi Hendrix and Mountain’s “Mississippi Queen,” which you could hear through a Galt Gardens packed full of people and families enjoying an array of hot rods and  flashy motorcycles.
