Musicians and music fans are understandable getting antsy being unable to partake in live music.
But it has also given them a chance to write new music and learn a few new covers.
Don Cassell and Dil Jopp from Dark Wrangler got to show off new music on an almost completely full patio and another dozen people listening inside to their loose set at the Owl Acoustic Lounge, Friday, Sept. 18.
Cassell played and sang a couple new originals in his ragged voice, reminiscent of John Fogerty , one inspired by Covid, while Jopp added bass and harmony vocals.
She took the lead on a Frazey Ford cover of “Blue Streak Mama.”
