“ We’re stoked about visiting Theoretically Brewing,” said Rebel Priest bassist/ vocalist Jayme Black, who will be joined by guitarist/vocalsit  Benny Kemp and drummer/vocalist Nate Pole.

Rebel Priest released their  first EP in 2017.

“We got together in 2014, just playing together. We were all in other bands, but decided to focus on Rebel Priest for the past four years,” he said.

Though  the new EP  wasn’t officially released un til Friday, June 24, he said audiences are already responding to it.

“It‘s the best one we’ve released so far and people really seem to like it,” Black said, adding he is alway excited to tout with Deadwolff.

“ We’re stoked about that. We’ll show them the west then we’ll go out east,” he said adding they share Deadwolff’s love for ’80s rock.

‘ We love  blues based rock like Motley Crüe and Motorhead,” he said, adding they’re excited about the Lethbridge show.

“ I’ve been to Lethbridge in other bands, but never with this band. So it will be non stop hell raising fun. We’ll be playing songs from each of the records,” he said.

He noted there’s a few places to play in Vancouver.

“ There’s three or four venues, but there will also be shows in basements and  warehouses,” he said, adding he is excited to tour again, as they didn’t do much  during the pandemic.

“I can’t wait  to head out and play Lethbridge, and check out Hell Diablo. Maybe the Turbojugend guys will be there,” he said.
