I only caught the end of a packed show from Toronto area based country-rock band Sadies show at the Geomatic Attic, Friday, Oct. 21.
It was the first time we’d seen them since founding member Dallas Good passed away earlier this year.
I only caught the last three songs of the show. Dallas Good’s guitar and voce were definitely missed, but Travis Good , drummer Mike Bellitsky and bassist Sean Dean laid the foundation of a solid set of music.
And Travis Good still tore things up guitarwise.
Kacy Anderson from opening act Kacy and Clayton was adding sweet vocal harmonies to the music adding even more of an ethereal air.
The Sadies are touring in support of their record CD “Colder Streams.”
They played haunting, spooky punk tinged spaghetti western country music .
They were hypnotic as usual .
Kacy Anderson added beautiful vocal harmonies and left the stage leaving the Sadies trio to close off the show before returning for one more song. She returned for the encore.
