Hatrix Theatre opens their production of The Toxic Avenger the musical at McNally Community Centre on Thursday, Oct. 26.
he Toxic Avenger: The Musical runs Oct. 26-28 and 31, Nov. 2-4, and 9-10 at McNally Community Centre. Doors open at 7 p.m. each night with the show beginning at 8 p.m.

Lethbridge Musical Theatre opens their musical the Full Monty at the Yates Theatre, Oct. 26 as well. It runs at 7:30 p.m. each night , Oct. 26-29 and Nov. 1-4. There are also matinee performances at 2 p.m. on Oct. 29 and Nov. 4.
It is also the week for female powered rock music.
The rock and roll begins early with a trio of shows to choose from.
The Geomatic Attic winds down a busy October on Tuesday, Oct. 24, With Women in blues featuring Miss Emily and Jeni Thai.
They play the Sterndale Bennett Theatre beginning at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $68.71 and moving slow.

To complete the Tuesday trifecta of hot trios playing live music, Oklahoma based alternative rock/ riot grrrl trio Skating Polly hit the Slice stage with Calgary rock band the Hi Tops and Alec Arms.
That is also an early show that begins at 7:30 p.m.. Admission is $15.
The Slice welcomes female fronted goth/ metal/ industrial/ nu metal band The Fixer to the stage on Thursday, Oct. 26 . The Lethbridge stop is part of their “Ghosts Will Tour ” that began in Le Pas, Manitoba and ends in Thunder Bay on Nov. 17. Putrid Stain and Chernoff are also on the show, which begins at 9 p .m. Admission is $15.
