Get into the Halloween spirit early at Creepy Hollows outside of Warner.
Eleven local bands play the first Frankenfest beginning at 1 p.m. and going until late.
“I’ve spent the last four years building this new stage. It’s not quite done but this will be our first concert on it. It’s a pipe dream come true,” said Richard Reimer of Creepy Hollows, noting there are nine bands performing beginning with Chis Drew at 1 p.m. and ending with local Misfits tribute 138 at 12:45 a.m.
There will be two food trucks and a store for patrons to get things not available at the food trucks.
But there will be no beer gardens.
“ That’s something we’ll work on for next year. We were on a tight deadline this year,” he continued, adding he is proud of the stage itself.
“It’s 32 feel long and 38 feet deep and a 12 foot ceiling, so there’s lots of room, he enthused, adding Creepy Hollows hopes to host live music three or four times a year. He plans to make Frankenfest an annual event.
“That’s the plan,” he said.
If you need a break from the music, Reimer noted Creepy Hollows will be open.
“ We’re open pretty much year round but go the extra step during Halloween by decorating the lawn, he said.
You can also check out the Reimer’s classic cars including an old hearse and some early ’70s muscle cars.
