There was a lot of shows happening this week beginning Tuesday, Oct. 17 at Whispers where Saskatchewan born country/ rock musician Val Halla was scheduled to perform.

Unfortunately she had to cancel due to pneumonia, but Lethbridge duo Smokestack Jacks picked up the slack with an incendiary set of original blues/ rock including some  new songs as well as crowd favourites like “Whiskey.”
