I had never had the pleasure of seeing the revamped line up of Lethbridge classic rock band Billie Vegas with new vocalist Shawna Romolliwa, but had to check out the end of their March 28 set at the Soundgarden.

They had lots of guitar,  a solid rhythm and lasers shooting everywhere as they played a variety of classic rock and contemporary hits like Katy Perry’s “Waking Up in Vegas,” and Joan Jett’s “ I Love Rock and Roll” among others.

Romolliwa, microphone in hand, jumped into the middle of  several dancers on the dance floor and got them to sing a few bars of “Waking Up in Vegas.”
