Local experimental jazz rock group Sandwich didn’t have a lot of people at their Saturday, Aug. 16 show at the Slice.

 Their second set was mostly rejigged covers of popular songs like the Police’s  “Roxanne” and Michael Jackson's “ Billie Jean.”

Though they showed their diversity on a beautifully  soulful version of “Mercy, Mercy Me, What’s Going On” and transistioned immediately into something a little more funky.
