If you didn’t get enough toe tapping, hip swinging twanging rockabilly with Cousin Harley and MonkeyJunk’s two shows at the Mocha Cabana and the Geomatic Attic, or if they left you wanting more, then this is your lucky week with a pair of talented rockabilly acts standing out with Lethbridge shows.

Young, up and coming Calgary rocGuy Davis returns to Lethbridge this week. Photo by Richard Amerykabilly quartet Peter and the Wolves rock and roll at the Owl Acoustic Lounge, April 24. As well, Hamilton’s Ginger St. James promises to be a foot stomping good time at the Slice, April 23.
There is a $10 cover for St. James, who draws from the spirits of Wanda Jackson, June Carter and Patsy Cline, with  the modern day outlaw sass of Elizabeth Cook. He has starred on Broadway in Finian’s Rainbow, has played major music festivals and has been on the Conan O’Brien  show. He tells stories and plays heartfelt Delta blues. His most recent, sixth album is “Legacy.”

It is a good week for Delta blues and folk music.
