“I love playing solo and with my sister, but I’m really enjoying playing with the Bears,” said Nash on her way to a gig in Swift Current.

Nash is a familiar face on the Lethbridge scene, frequently playing the Owl Acoustic Lounge and bigger festivals like Love and Records.

“It’s so much fun. It’s a total game changer. I bring the alt country sound to the table and they bring a more indie rock sound,” she described.
“It really adds an extra layer to the sound,“ she continued, adding she is busy recording an album with them.

Since starting to play with them since last July, she found an instant connection, just like she did when she first played the Owl Acoustic Lounge.

“ I love the Owl. I’ve been playing there for about five years. I think I was one of the first out of town acts to play these,” she speculated.
“ They have been so supportive of touring acts,” she said.
