I only caught Whitecourt’s Western Frontline and Calgary’s the Moröns and missed local band Sessions and Edmonton's Grizzly Trail.

Western Frontline, played an intense set of punk rock music with plenty of energy and gang vocals.

The bassist/ vocalist sported a shirt from Calgary hardcore band Citizen Rage, who they sounded similar to.n He noted they hall worked in the oil patch. So they had a couple heavier songs about that relating a blue collar aesthetic.

The Moröns (pronounced Moroons) played  a more pop punk style of music with fast, catchy songs about police, hotel sex at the Marriott and  social media.
They played an entertaining set.
