I was sad to have missed Fawns, but excited to hear a full set of blues and classic rock from Coda.

I arrived as drummer Ben Lamb was launching into  their cover of Bad Company’s “ Can’t Get Enough.”
Guitarist Sheldon Shukaliak took over lead vocals for “ Some Kind of Wonderful.”

For this set they went blues with a cover of “Cocaine.”

Lamb, Shukaliak, bassist Rick Maddeaux and keyboardist  Cory Rasmussen, hidden in the shadows, showed off their vocal harmonies on a cover of the Marshall Tucker Band’s “ Can’t You See.”

Rasmussen showed off his prowess on a groovy cover of Booker T and the M.G’s “Green Onions.”
Lamb returned to lead vocals on a fast version of Blue Rodeo’s “Lost Together.”
They showed off their vocal harmonies again on the Eagles’ “Heartache Tonight.”
