Uncovered play the hits for Halloween

Covid aside, there were a lot of people out and about to celebrate Halloween on a Saturday.

 Pop’s Pub South  featured local rock quartet  Uncovered  featuring Alison Hawkins back singing lead vocals on several of the more pop  numbers.


 A good sized crowd was in costume and enjoying the music. Several of them had incorporated masks into the costumes. The quartet played behingd individual little plexiglass screens.


 Juno playing with Uncovered at Pop's Pub South, Oct. 31. Photo By Richard AmeryDrummer Juno sang lead vocals on several songs including  Bruce Springsteen’s “ Dancing in the Dark,” Hawkins added an impassioned version of  Holly McNarland’s   “Numb.”


Juno took over on lead vocals for the country portion of their set, which including a pair of Eddie Rabbit songs “ I Love a Rainy Night” and trucker’s classic “ Driving my Life Away.”
 They ended their set by taking the audience back with a little “ Twist And Shout,”  taking a break for the costume contest.
