The Owl Acoustic Lounge was packed, Oct. 31 for the perfect Halloween band — new local Misfits tribute 138. I missed their debut at the Slice the night before, so was glad to have caught most of their last set at the Slice.Donovan Howell singing with Misfits tribute 138. Photo by Richard Amery

The band did spooktacular versions of a lot of the horror punk pioneers’  classics including “ Dig Up her Bones,”,“Die Die My Darling,” “Skull,” “Last Caress” and ended their set with the  extremely apt “Halloween.”

They ran through their entire repertoire and were called back for an encore, so they redid “Last Caress.”

They were spot on and even looked the part with makeup and Misfits  shirts.
