It was acoustic night at the Owl Acoustic lounge, Friday, Sept. 24 with a trimmed down Biloxi Parish set to perform.

But first Mormon Girls’ Mickey Hayward opened the show with a grunge/alternative rock flavoured set of acoustic rock.

 “I used to play with a band that was really loud,” noted Hayward, who ’s sound mellowed as he accompanied himself on acoustic guitar.

 He still had an alternative rock feel  to his music sans the volume and distortion.
