Local classic rock band Chevelles were back to rock the Place with al the hits a dancing crowd could handle, Friday, Feb. 3.
I caught a diverse set ranging from Franki Valli’s “December 1963 Oh, What A Night) to Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” with a whole lot of rock and roll in between.
They played a couple other songs I hadn't heard them play for a while including the B 52s’ “ Love Shack” and the always enjoyable ELO’s “Don’t Bring Me Down.”
As usual Seamus Chevelle aka Joe Brewster sang the high harmonies and more of the punk tinged numbers including Billy Idol and Iggy Pop.
