“There will be poetry, music, videos and sketch comedy,” summarized Theatre Outré artistic director Jay Whitehead.

“We usually have a holiday cabaret at this time of year but due to Covid, we aren’t allowed to have audiences, or even be in the same room together,” he continued, adding they have been putting the show together for the past month.

“It’s all Christmas themed. It’s all original material. All of the music will be Christmas standards,” he continued.

“It’s a variety show,” he continued.

“We miss our audiences, so this event will bring new content to them as well as raise some money  for the holiday season,” Whitehead continued, adding Theatre Outré set up a Patreon crowd funding site to donate.

Covid has been tough on Theatre Outré like on all arts organizations.

“ We’re still struggling to pay the bills every month,” Whitehead said.

The hour-long show will be available on the Theatre Outré Facebook page if you are unable to tune in tonight.
“ And Twitch leaves it up for a couple of days too,” he continued.
