Jesse and the Dandelions (Jesse Northey, Chris Banmann and Nick Vedres )have just finished their first full length album and it will be released early June. Our songs represent a wide variety of musical styles but one thing that glues the songs together is their strong melodic element and a groove that encourages you to dance.One thing that is important to us is that we like having fun. Our shows are a unique and special experience because we have songs that encourage the audience to get involved. It's for this reason that we've been the opening act for bands such as Ra Ra Riot, Pilot Speed, and Attack in Black. We also play a handful of non-profit/fundraiser shows for LPIRG, Amnesty International and other local charities. Every time we play our song "In Limbo" we have a limbo competition with prizes. With our "Van Song" you can't help but sing along and dance to the group parts. Our other songs sing the truth and will keep you interested even if you aren't into limbo competitions or dancing. We have a blast when we play and the audience shares that experience with us.

Albertan folk singer/guitar player Amy Bronson is a little bit different than the average prairie girl raised around cows and conservative politics.  She plays  some pretty guitar and  sings unique melodies with stream of consciousness lyrics. It is good to have her back from Guelph for a while.
