Girls Girls Girls are the UK's greatest gypsy proto-carcash punk firebrands, performing nautically symbolic punk numbers, forlorn sea shantys, heartbreaking pop songs and hard-edged ballads.

Girls Girls Girls have been described variously as "gypsy punk more varied than Gogol Bordello" (FFwd Calgary), "a beguiling band to like, but an easy one to love" (The Times) and "absolutely bloody brilliant" (NARC Magazine).

Forthcoming third LP 'Hello Sailor' (released Autumn 2010, Ex Libris Records) comes hot on the heels of 2007's wide-eyed powerpop debut 'This Has Got To Stop' and the slick balkan-alt-rock of 2009's acclaimed 'Songs for Grilly'. The new record features a varied yet cohesive collection of szichophrenically magnifient pop music, with shouty accordion-led tales of the Hamburg underworld, a punk approximation of Hungarian wedding hoedown and a song where the band accept that they have more in common with dogs than their fellow human beings.

Girls Girls Girls will celebrate 'Hello Sailor''s release by bringing their mercurially brilliant live show across Canada, Germany and the UK in Autumn and Winter 2010.

Review of 2009's 'Songs for Grilly':

"As an antidote to the current wave of shoegazing indie bollocks, Girls Girls Girls' debut longplayer does the trick on all fronts. Danceable? Check. Intelligent? Check. Absolutely bloody brilliant? Check.

Girls Girls Girls are nothing if not ambitious. Each track is a finely honed piece, and rather than confusing matters, their point blank refusal to stick to a formula makes Songs For Grilly an even more compelling work. Where else can you find power-pop stomp alongside gypsy love songs, and finished off with a ridiculously over the top, and ridiculously brilliant, sea shanty?

From the sheer, unadulterated pleasure of the title track to the funk swing of American Girlfriend, the breadth of talent contained within Girls Girls Girls is clear for all to see, and when the music is delivered with such a refreshingly theatrical brilliance, it is not hard to imagine this album getting under the skin, and staying there for a good while indeed. It's great to see a band coming out of London that have somehow avoided getting embroiled in the tight-jeaned, floppy haired mess that passes for a scene right now, and it's ever better to find one that's as good as Girls Girls Girls." - NARC Magazine
