Canadian multi-instrumentalist, Dan Walsh is already well known for his collaborations with a number of talented musicians. He’s added his bluesy-bluegrass signature style to more than two dozen albums and toured across North America, Europe and Australia.
For many years Walsh was a key member of Fred Eaglesmith’s band, The Flying Squirrels, where he played more than a couple of hundred gigs a year and shared the stage with the likes of Willie Nelson, Little Feat, Toby Keith, Delbert McClinton, Blackie & The Rodeo Kings, Kelly Joe Phelps, Willie P. Bennett and the Del McCoury Band.
Walsh has recently released a new cd entitled "VirtuSoSo." This cd is a departure from his 1st release and showcases his penchant for slide guitar.
Musician, Corb Lund says of Walsh’s sound: "Walshy is awesome. I've played with him lots and he's on everybody's record and he's always tasty as hell."
