Sleeping with  Tuesday http://www.sleepingwithtuesday.net  or http://www.myspace.com/sleepingwithtuesday1 is a Lethbridge/ Elkford based rock band including Johnpaul Smith, Lead vocals, and Guitars; Dino Scavo, Bass ;Guitar and vocals; Ryan Mildenberger, Drums and Vocals.; Evan Shcaaf, Keyboards

Sleeping with Tuesday has smartly and efficiently built a marketable and presentable product. Using the feel of Classic rock shows, where the bands played a 3 hour straight set,, using the crowed as a full interactive tool, and mixing the new popular sounds of Independent music with the ever present un-ignorable catchy sing along song writing and performances of the Classic Stadium rock bands. S.W.T’s music is carefully written and arranged to evoke crowed interaction and response weather it be dancing, clapping along, or sinning. If SWT is hasten had to do at least 3 encores after a show, then they feel they need to step it up. The band lead by singer song writer john Paul smith has “unofficially” released 2 albums since 2008. The first one, Self titled, was recorded and released in 2008 and quickly sold out of all 3000.00 hard copys. The second that was released this year in June 2010 was written and recorded in a “concept” Idea. The feel and idea was to write and record and album of various different styles and genre’s, and when played, it would have the effect of and I-pod on shuffle. Hence the name of the album “shuffle”

The Autumn Protrait http://theautumnportrait.com  or http://www.myspace.com/theautumnportrait

are a three-piece Vancouver based indie-rock band includong Freddie Mojallal - Vox/Guitar; Patrick Jacobson - Bass Guitar; Sean Lavoy - Drums

It’s no secret that we live in a digital age. We use Facebook to stay in touch with our friends, Plenty of Fish to find dates, and Craigslist sell our couch, find a job or read “Missed Connections” when we’re bored. Despite all we do online, it’s rare to find a band that comes together “digitally,” but so is the case with Vancouver indie-rock outfit, The Autumn Portrait. After lead singer, Freddie Mojallal posted an ad seeking musicians on Craigslist, The Autumn Portrait gelled instantly, quickly becoming a mainstay on the Vancouver music scene.

Known for their energetic, toe-tapping indie rock anthems that get people dancing, The Autumn Portrait draw comparisons to the likes of Radiohead, Kings of Leon and Muse. Impressively, as a trio they manage to capture that anthemic rock and roll sound. With creative force, Mojallal on vocals and guitar, Patrick Jacobson on bass and Sean Lavoy on drums, this solid three-piece has an unforgettable live show that has leaves crowds satisfied.

Their debut album, The Design Is Over, released fall 2010, is a celebration of Vancouver indie-rock, produced by Tom Dobrzanski; a talented producer/musician, whose resume reads like a who’s who of the Vancouver rock and roll community, producing efforts from the likes of Said The Whale, We Are The City, Hey Ocean! and the Zolas.

In late 2009, The Autumn Portrait released their first EP, The Light. The band quickly gained fans and champions within the west coast music community. During that year, they were featured during the 2010 Winter Olympics with Chapters Indigo as well as a WARCHILD Canada Showcase “Busking for Change.” With their full-length debut and two western Canadian tours under their belts in 2010, The Autumn Portrait are about to embark on their biggest and most ambitious feat yet: their first national tour, playfully titled the “Friends & Animals Tour.“

Touring from Vancouver to Halifax and everywhere in between, coupled with their first appearance at Canadian Music Week in Toronto, The Autumn Portrait have big goals for this phase of their career and there is no doubt they are capable of achieving them in 2011.
