COPPER is a constant energy that is pulsing through the industry worldwide. With addictive music and lyrics you simply cannot just listen once! Making their start in Calgary, Alberta, Canada this group of highly professional and talented musicians is determined to take their brand to every person personally. They are a must see in any venue, anywhere, anytime. Lead singer and guitar player Steve Churchill started the band "COPPER" roughly 3 years ago. After changing the line up of musicians it felt right to change the band name from "No Warning" to give this band a fresh start. After "COPPER" had been settled on Steve booked the band over the next 12 months in and around Alberta, BC, and Saskatchewan. The schedule was relentless and time was needed to develop the songs that Steve had written for the bands first album. In the second year the schedule was made more manageable to make time for song development. It was clear that more changes were needed in the band to take it to another level. Steve again made changes to the line up and during this time had reconnected with an old friend from junior high school Casey Lewis who was also a musician with "The Evidence" (formally The Failure) and owned and operated a local recording studio "Echo Base Studios". It was quickly established that Casey would record "COPPERS" first album and a recording date was set. As the deadline rapidly approached and with two new musicians in the band a daily rehearsal schedule was made over a two week period and after 14 days in the recording studio COPPER had their first album in the can. Since then the CD release has been a huge success both locally and internationally. Boasting sales worldwide and a soon to be released touring schedule. As the band progresses through to 2011 you can expect the unexpected.
